My favorite picture from this shoot has to be the one of all the parents trying to get their kiddos to smile in the grandchildren picture. Just makes me laugh the noises and crazy things we do just to get our kids to look. If they smile too... even better! LOVED their outfits. Everyone looked super hot (which is great, since it was SUPER cold).

SO glad we had the chance to photograph this beautiful familly, while they are here in town on a short visit! Got to love the always changing Utah weather. It's "like a box of Chocolates. Mark & Kristen tied the knot... and it was beautiful! The weather was specacular just long enough for them to have their ceremony. Then in rolled the rain. This wedding day was put together very well! Loved every detail. It was a beautiful day at the temple and these two just lit up temple grounds, glowing with love and happiness! We LOVE Ashley and Kirk! About a year ago we were able to take pictures of them before Kirk went off to serve his country. It was so sweet to see then together and how close they were. They decided to get married a few months later in a small ceremony...and then this summer they were sealed in the beautiful Bountiful Temple. We LOVE so many things and sometimes have a hard time sticking with a style or look... We both love bright colors, but also love the vintage style that is IN right now. When it came down to it we could not choose :( So instead we decided to have both :) The YELLOW, GREY, and BLACK are chic yet vibrant colors that will allow us to keep that loud and crazy feeling we love in our pictures. The polka dots, paisley, and stripes pull in our vintage touch that we so love in our clients styles and looks. These two may seem calm and collected but are a fire ball of fun when the party starts! We had such a great time on their special day. The ceremony was GORGEOUS! But the moment that sticks out to me the most was... during their toasts, one of Katherine's friends said they didn't think she'd ever get married. Spent all her time studying and in the apartment. His friends said basically the same thing and how happy everyone was they found each other. Well I'm here to say these two are SO made for each other. I love how they look at each other with such love and respect, and they have so much fun together. We wish you two many happy memories down your road together...

This was one crazy, fun day! First, we wondered if those wicked storm clouds were going to rain on their parade (but it didn't and the clouds made for an awesome sky). Second, was a beautiful ceremony uniting two families. Third, was lots of love for the bride and groom from their guests. Fourth, firemen from SLC dropped in to give their congrats. What a site to see! Who doesn't love to see a sweet fire truck up close. A lucky handful got to ride in the truck! But probably my favorite part of the night was all the hard work the kiddos put into decorating the car for their parents (or should I say trashing the car), just to find out the joke was on them. They actually decorated the car they were going home in. Congrats to all of you! We wish you the best and are SO glad we got to be part of your special day...

This beautiful girl put up with some crazy weather on the day of her bridals but you wouldn't be able to tell by her pictures. The wind was blowing like crazy and with this wet July month the rain showers were driving us into our cars for protection until it passed. Emmalee kept a smile on the entire time and didn't let mother nature get the best of her. Between her beautiful dress, a fun umbrella, and a perfect location her bridal session turned out wonderful! It was a pure miracle that we were able to finish this photo shoot without getting soaking wet! I am so thankful that Taylor and Sarah were able to keep smiles on their faces while we kept running in and out of our cars between rain showers. She even found this cute little record player that fits the theme of her wedding and just happens to be her colors. My favorite picture is the one of the back of her dress with the sun shining behind her! The lighting was perfect that day and I love the shape of her dress. Whoa baby!! These two are so dang hott.. as you can tell i couldn't help but pick a ton of favorites with them kissing. We have been trying to do this sunset shoot for the past month but with snow one day and rain the next it has been nearly impossible, but we finally did it and it turned out perfect. It almost looked like a summer day and the sunset was amazing. It didn't hurt that Ryan and Ashley can completely work the camera and make me laugh the whole time. This was such a fun wedding to be at. The weather started out great, then halfway through pictures outside it got COLD and WINDY! Elena & Drew were such troopers. We still were able to get great shots. I love the picture where Drew's ankles are showing... he forgot socks! I guess if you are going to forget something on your wedding day, that's the thing to forget. It was a beautiful ceremony, followed by a reception/party for friends and family to enjoy. The band that finished up the night was AMAZING and so fun to watch! {Drew & Enena} we wish you an amazing future together and keep the fire alive!

David and Mckinzi were a dream to work with.. they would do anything, from serious smooching, laying in the sand, and even jumping in freezing water. 30 years of marriage... 5 beautiful children.. 2 amazing son in laws... and the cutest little grandson ever makes the Stevenson's one HAPPY family :) I have grown up with the Stevenson's and spent many days over at their house eating milk and cookies, watching Michael Jackson, crazy birthday parties with duck tape and gloves , Jazz games, CHURCH ball ( some scary memories there ha ha) and many years of school together! Saying i LOVE the Stevenson's is an understatement... they are amazing and i had so much fun taking pictures of them. It gave me a bit of nerves to take pictures of a family that i have so much respect for but it wasn't hard to grab a great picture with such a good looking bunch of people! Bret and Ashley are expecting their first little addition in the next few weeks! How exciting... I just love her baby bump. Ashley's mother has got this little boy spoiled already. He is going to be one well-dressed, happenin' kid. Congrats you two! Can't wait to meet your little guy.

Growin' Up Fast

Little Viv is growing up too fast. Every time I see her, I can barely recognize her... I LOVE all of her faces. Got some smiles, some attitude, and some "really?!?" faces. Such a cutie. McCall's house is decorated SO cute. It is great to be able to do baby and kid pictures in their own home. Kids are more comfortable and makes for more enjoyable experience. My favorite picture is the one of her bitting her lower lip. Which is your favorite?

Weather to Remember

What a weekend in Idaho! The weather made travels difficult, but well worth it for such a beautiful day. The whole week was filled of snow packed storms. We wondered if we would even make it to the location, but the blue sky showed up just in time... the bride and groom looked spectacular, ceremony was beautiful, food smelled spectacular, but my favorite was the SUPER big snow flakes that came down as the night came to an end. Thanks for letting Shalise and I come be part of your special day. We wish you a future full of happiness and hope you two keep in touch!

Whoa Baby! This is one good looking couple. We had loved spending the day with Dean and Rachael as we took their engagement pictures. We gave Dean a little pep talk before the shoot started to let him know we needed him to kiss Rachael like we weren't there.. he took his job very serious and every time we asked them to kiss he went all in. It was beyond cold on the day these two love birds got married. I felt so bad for Karissa in her beautiful short sleeve dress... Because it was so cold we weren't able to spend a lot of time outside but the images we did get were beautiful. The temple grounds looked so peaceful and sprinkled in snow... it made for some great shots. Halli is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and a great friend. I have loved working with Halli the past few years while teaching dance and have learned so much from her. I don't know how the Draper family keeps up, all i know is they are AMAZING!! I have the privilege of working for the Drapers teaching dance at Studio48 in Roy. It has been the biggest blessing in my life :) I have loved getting to know all of them and watching them handle a million things at once. Dallas just had little Bentley 3 weeks ago, Jake runs two businesses, our competition teams are going to California to dance in a few months, Oakley is hard at work in school, kade is thinking about Thomas the train non-stop, and grandma and grandpa help with everything in between! I get exhausted just talking about everything they have going on.... i was so excited when they wanted to squeeze family pictures in this month with their lives so jam packed. Luckily the weather held out but we will have to do another family shoot in the summer so we can spend more time hanging out! Love you guys!!

Wolf Creek was the perfect setting for Dan and Brittanys wedding. The lighting was perfect and the sun was shinning the whole day. They have been together for so many years and to watch them get married was amazing. The tears that fell down Brittanys face as she read her vows made me want to cry myself. They are a wonderful couple and we have loved getting to know them and being a part of their special day!!

How fun to is it to get bridals together! Not many brides get the opportunity to share this experience with their sister. These girls were such troopers in the not so warm weather, and it was worth it. I LOVE bridals with snow. It's just so pure and clean! Both these brides were gorgeous and FUN! They were married in March and then had to move to Oklahoma for Josh's job :( I was so excited when Shaleese called to let me know she was going to be in town and wanted to do pictures with us again. This is one good looking family! The Fountz' were such a blast to hang out with... just SO easy-going and funny. Every time I turned around one of them was up on a ledge, on top of the train, or getting ready to do something crazy. They love to watch movies together and brought some AMAZING props! Watching movies is their way of being able to spend time as a family and be together during some rough times. I think it's beautiful... I love this family so much!!! My aunt Angie has raised a beautiful bunch of boys and one drop dead gorgeous yet funny little girl. The little one was so dang cute and had the biggest crocodile tears because he just wasn't into pictures ( it's alright you still look cute), but we still happened to grab a few with a little smirk on his face. I love this family! Even though driving to Boise and back in one day makes for one of the longest car rides ever it was well worth it to get to know Sheena and Shawn during their engagement session :) We had so much fun playing next to the river and enjoying the warm weather. The fall colors were still bright as ever up there and i was so thankful because down here we just have a bunch of naked tree branches! Julee and I are so excited to travel back up their around Christmas to celebrate their wedding, it is beautiful!
